PET POLICY

Pets and the Sandpiper Inn:

 

As part of our commitment to provide the highest level of service, The Sandpiper Inn is pleased to welcome our guests’ pets to the hotel.  The daily fee to accommodate a pet is $30.00 plus tax.  In addition, in order to ensure a harmonious stay for all guests, The Sandpiper Inn has developed the following guidelines for pet etiquette:  
Our policy is as follows:
  • We allow dogs of up to 50 lbs.
  • Pets are only allowed in our smoking rooms.
  • There is a $30.00 Non-Refundable Fee.
  • There is a $50.00 Non-Refundable Fee for any pets found in our non-smoking rooms.  This fee will automatically be charged to the guest, no exceptions.
  • Pet owners agree to keep their pet on a leash or in a cage while the pet is in any public or common area within the hotel.
  • When walking pets on the property, please be considerate of other guests and clean up after your pet.
  • Pet owners agree to not leave their pet unattended at any time while in the hotel or guest room.  Please take your dog with you when you leave the property, no exceptions.
  • Pet owners should remove their pet from their guestroom during housekeeping services, or opt not to receive housekeeping services.
  • If a pet becomes aggressive to any guest or other person in the hotel, pet owners agree to remove their pet promptly from the hotel upon request unless a mutually acceptable compromise can be met.
  • Pet owners accept full responsibility for any and all liability, claims, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorney’s fees) for personal injury or property damage caused by the pet, and agree to make reimbursement for such damages on demand.
  • Pet owners agree to indemnify, hold harmless, and defend The Sandpiper Inn, its owners, agents and employees from any and all liability, claims, losses, costs, and expenses, (including reasonable attorney’s fees) arising out of or relating to any claim for personal injury or property damage caused by the pet.
  • These policies may seem inappropriate and unfair.  We believe in offering the best accommodations at affordable prices.  The monetary fee allows us to keep the room comfortable for all of our guests.
